What is Cyber Essentials Plus?

Cyber Essentials Plus is the highest level of certification within the UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme. Unlike the standard Cyber Essentials certification, which is based on a self-assessment, Cyber Essentials Plus requires an independent technical assessment of our systems and security controls by a qualified assessor. For Rhadar customers, this provides additional assurance that the security measures protecting your organisation and client data have been independently tested and verified, rather than simply declared as being in place. It demonstrates that Rhadar has robust controls covering areas such as firewalls, secure configuration, user access, malware protection and security updates, helping protect against the most common cyber threats.

How often is it renewed?

Annually. The same process and audit is undertaken each year to ensure that systems are as secure as they need to be

Can we provide the certificate to our commissioners?

Yes, on request.

Does it cover our client data?

Yes. The certification covers the Rhadar platform that hosts your client data.
